FHA Loans

What types of properties can I buy with an FHA loan in Washington?

FHA loans work for single-family homes, 2–4 unit properties (if you'll live in one unit), FHA-approved condos, and manufactured homes on permanent foundations. The property must meet HUD minimum property standards — FHA appraisers flag issues like missing handrails, water damage, or non-functional systems. Fixer-uppers in rough condition often need a 203(k) renovation loan instead of a standard FHA loan.
