FHA Loans

Can I get an FHA loan with bad credit in Washington?

FHA is one of the most accessible loan programs for buyers with credit challenges. A 580 score gets you 3.5% down. A score between 500–579 still qualifies with 10% down. Scores below 500 generally don't meet FHA requirements. Collections, late payments, and past bankruptcies don't automatically disqualify you — underwriters look at the full picture, including how recently problems occurred and whether they've been resolved.
