Washington's primary source of down payment assistance is the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC). Key programs include: Home Advantage — up to 4% of the loan amount with no first-time buyer requirement; House Key Opportunity — for first-time buyers and veterans with deeper assistance available; HomeChoice — up to $15,000 additional for buyers with disabilities; and Veterans Down Payment Assistance — up to $10,000 for Washington veterans.
